SN 2018aoy in IC 1069 (at R.A. = 14h50m47s.92, Decl. = +54°24'28".8) discovered on 2018 April, 02nd by Massimo Caimmi on behalf of Italian Supernovae Search Project (ISSP), using the SC 0,24 mt. telescope of the Valdicerro Observatory (C92) - Loreto (AN) - Italy. The new object was detected at Mag 18.0, Type Ia (see TNS), and it is located 12".0 east and 12".0 south of the center of IC 1069.
