SN scoperta da Ciabattari, Mazzoni, Rossi e Petroni con il telescopio Newton da 50cm dell'Osservatorio di Monte Agliale (Lucca) e ASAS-SN indipendentemente.

SUPERNOVA 2013dr IN PGC 60077 = PSN J17193026+4742046
F. Ciabattari, E. Mazzoni, M. Rossi, and G. Petroni, Borgo a Mozzano,
Italy, report their discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 16.3) on
unfiltered CCD images (limiting magnitude 19.5) obtained on June 30.91 and
July 1.85 UT with a 0.5-m Newtonian reflector in the course of the Italian
Supernovae Search Project. The new object is located at R.A. = 17h19m30s.26,
Decl. = +47d42'04".6 (equinox 2000.0; astrometry with respect to USNO-B
stars), which is 9" west and 5" south of the center of the galaxy PGC 60077.
Nothing is visible at this position on a digitized F plate from the Palomar
Sky Survey taken on 1987 Apr. 24 (limiting magnitude 20.3). The variable was
designated PSN J17193026+4742046 when it was posted at the Central Bureau's
TOCP webpage and is here designated SN 2013dr based on the spectroscopic
confirmation reported below. Additional CCD magnitudes for 2013dr: 2013

Australia; remotely using a 51-cm RCOS telescope + luminance filter located

L. Tomasella, S. Benetti, A. Pastorello, E. Cappellaro, P. Ochner, and M.
Turatto, report that optical spectroscopy (range 340-820 nm; resolution 1.3
nm) obtained on July 2.84 UT with the Asiago 1.82-m Copernico Telescope (+
AFOSC), shows that PSN J17193026+4742046 = SN 2013dr is a type-Ia supernova.
Assuming for the host galaxy, PGC 60077, the redshift z = 0.016835 after Falco
et al. (1999, PASP 111, 438; via NED), a good match is found with several
type-Ia supernovae at one week before maximun light. The expansion velocity,
as deduced from the position of the minimum of the Si II 635.5-nm absorption,
is about 11200 km/s. The Asiago classification spectra are posted at website
